
Gloria Rae Blankenburg, 70, died October 28, with her family at her side. She was born on October 1, 1944 in Ft. Wayne. She graduated from Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska. She started her career as an elementary school teacher and organist, and later worked as a program administrator in older adult services at Community Hospital and CICOA. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Max, and her daughter, Lara. A Celebration of her Life will be held at Noon on Saturday, November 8 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 3421 N. Park Ave, Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Our Redeemer Luther Church Neighborhood Children’s Ministry.
